PLAYFUL HIKING WITH THE SALZBURG SUMMIT GAME
With the Salzburg Summit Game, which revolves around the "Benevolent Queen and her Six Noblemen," mountain hiking becomes a playful nature experience for adults and children. The goal is to climb a prominent peak in each of the seven resorts of the Salzburg Sports World and literally hike its history.
The mountains of the Salzburg Summit Game
Filzmoos: Bischofsmütze, the benevolent queen
St. Johann in Salzburg: Hochgründeck, the healer
Wagrain-Kleinarl: Penkkopf, the magician
Flachau: Saukarfunktel, the poet
Altenmarkt-Zauchensee: Lackenkogel, the guardian
Radstadt: Rossbrand, the scout
Eben: Gerzkopf, the bearer of secrets
How it works!
Before the start of the game, Gipfelspiel hikers purchase a "summit box" from the tourist office. It contains the most important utensils for the Salzburg Summit Game: tour book, hiking map and drinking cup with carabiner.
With the summit book in your backpack, you then climb one mountain after the other and have your "summit victory" stamped. Only those who have climbed all the summits will secure a reward at the end, which is available from the tourist office.
Important: An individual ritual has been developed for each mountain, which hikers can read about in the summit book. This ritual is to be understood as an invitation to connect with the mountain as a special place.
