Musik Meran: Concert: Giorgi Gigashvili

An emotionally charged piano recital, ranging from romantic intimacy to extreme virtuosity. The young Georgian pianist combines the lyrical depth of Mendelssohn and the Schumanns with captivating energy. The highlight of the performance is Prokofiev’s monumental Eighth Sonata, one of the most demanding works in the piano repertoire.
