Route description:
From the Unterberg district in Großarl, drive to the highest farms Lainholz and Pointgrün in the Grossarl Valley. Passing the farms, you will take a gravel road to the Aualm at 1800m. For those who want to go a little further, it is recommended to park at the Auheimalm a little below. The hiking trail there is highly recommended. From the Aualm you take the hiking trail no. 34b to the Lichtensteinkopf and further to the Schuhflicker. Back you hike via hiking trail no. 34 on the right side to the Aualm.
