Family hike to the Dalfaz waterfall

Easy hike in the fresh nature to the Dalfaz waterfall

From the hotel, we only have to hike up a short distance until

we reach the Buchau waterfall. This is worth seeing in spring when the meltwater in the mountains sends enough water down into the valley.

After this, we continue along the hiking trail through the forest towards the Dalfaz waterfall. With a drop of around 60 m, this is the highest waterfall in the Rofan mountains. It is located on the sunny side above Lake Achensee.

After a short break at the Dalfaz waterfall, where we take some nice photos and recharge our batteries, we hike back to the hotel via the forest road.
