Visit to the nature experience Holdamoos Vorsäßhütte

The centerpiece of the "Holdamoos Nature Experience" is a 440-year-old hut that was saved from being sold and demolished. This hut was demolished in the Vorderhopfreben mountain pasture. It is a hut that was built in 1582. This figure was not simply plucked out of the air, but house researchers have determined by means of dendrochronological investigations that the wood dates back to 1579/1581. The hut is very original, as hardly any changes have been made in the last decades and centuries. The Vorsäßhütte, with its kitchen, parlor, barn, stable, barn, hayloft and goat shed, has been kept practically in its original state, and the efforts made to preserve its originality are palpable.
