The Pirmasens premium hiking trail "Teufelspfad" took 4th place in the 2020 vote for Germany's most beautiful hiking trail. The joy is great, as the short trail was only opened in 2019. Come and see for yourself!
Named after one of its highlights, the Devil's Rock, the Teufelspfad is a trail that offers many varied impressions and is just as suitable for keen hikers as it is for families. From the wild and romantic valley with streams and ponds, to bizarre rock formations and numerous springs and waterfalls.
Experience the impressive flora and fauna of the Gersbachtal FFH area (Flora-Fauna-Habitat protected area), which is reflected in the natural habitats of water, red sandstone rocks and forest.
Both in spring, when the flowers and fields along the route are in full bloom, and in winter, when large icicles form in the legendary rocks, the Teufelspfad has its own special charm.

From the K4 parking lot, it is approx. 2 km to the Pfälzerwald Hütte Drei Buchen.
