On September 6, Taxenbach invites you to its Farmers' Autumn Festival.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a solemn Mass and a parade of the local clubs. At 11 a.m., Mayor Johann Gassner will open the festival; starting at noon, the Taxenbach and Eschenau traditional folk band will provide musical entertainment, followed by “Woifei Ottino” and “Zweierlei Musik,” who will keep the party going.
The program also includes craft demonstrations and performances by the Taxenbach Folk Group.
Various market stalls, a photo booth, and regional Pinzgau delicacies round out this traditional festival.
Younger guests won’t be left out either—the varied children’s program featuring Pinzgau donkeys, pony rides, face painting, glassblowing, and much more has something for everyone.
