Monday, December 7: Torchlight procession through the woods

Evening slowly falls over Andalo, and the torches are lit, ready to illuminate the path. From Piazza Dolomiti, we set off toward Lake Andalo, where the trail enters the woods and the atmosphere becomes enchanting.

Along the way, the mid-mountain guide shares interesting facts about the area’s flora and fauna and the secrets of the winter forest. Amid the silence of the snow and the scent of fir trees, every step is a little journey into nature.

At the Picchio Rosso Restaurant, we take a short break with a hot drink to recharge our energy. Then, with our torches lit, we’ll continue our walk back toward the village. The light dancing through the trees, the sound of footsteps on the snow, and the crisp winter air make the return journey a truly special moment.
