The Fleckner: a gentle peak - generous views

The guided summit hike takes us from the Ratschings-Jaufen mountain station past the Wasserfaller Alm to the Rinnersattel. Over the Jaufenkamm ridge we reach the 2,331-metre-high Fleckner. On the way back to the mountain station, we pass the Äußere Wumblsalm and stop off at the Saxnerhütte. The summit adventure tour is a rewarding excursion, easily doable even for hikers with average stamina. The ascent to the summit is rewarded with a magnificent view of the Merano region, with the silhouette of the Brenta on the horizon and the peaks of the Texel Group, the Ötztal Alps and the Stubai Alps in front.

Sturdy shoes, sun protection, rain protection, a change of clothes, some provisions and sufficient drinks for the way.
