SUMMER MOVIES at the Sternengarten - Three Films, Three Stops on a Journey Through Germany - The Frog and the Water

On August 21, 2026, the Stern Biergarten in Dinkelsbühl will host a summer movie series titled “Three Films, Three Stops on a Journey Through Germany.”

The event begins at 8:30 p.m. and will feature the film *The Frog and the Water*.

An exceptionally poetic film. The story begins in Cologne and winds its way through Weimar, Dresden, and Ulm all the way to Switzerland. With almost no dialogue, director Thomas Stuber tells the story of a quiet friendship between two lost souls, creating moving images that linger long after the film ends.

Under the theme “Journey Through Germany,” the films take viewers through very different landscapes, ways of life, and stories, all of which, in their own way, tell of being on the move, of encounters, and of new beginnings.

Doors open at Sterngarten at 8:00 p.m. The films begin at 8:30 p.m.

The event will be canceled in case of inclement weather. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
