Guided Hike with Jennifer // Hochgründeck - moderate

The hike begins at the Floitensberg parking lot, where you can park your car for free. Follow the forest road as it climbs gently through the woods toward Gründecksattel and continue along the marked trails toward Hochgründeck. Must-see: The Peace Chapel above the Heinrich-Kiener-Haus, on the St. Rupert Pilgrimage Trail.

The Hochgründeck is one of the highest forested mountains in Europe and ranks among Austria’s most scenic peaks. This relatively long hike is rewarded with a view of around 300 peaks (Hochkönig, Tennengebirge, Dachstein, Niedere and Hohe Tauern, Kitzbühel Alps, and Dientner Schieferberge).
