FIL-4 Exclusive dinner around the cabin fire in our Timber Lodge log cabin with bear safari experts Filip & Malin

You can expect an exclusive fine dining experience with local specialties, prepared over an open fire in our own Timber Lodge log cabin. You will also learn all kinds of interesting facts about the local brown bear population.

You will meet our bear experts Filip & Malin at Skålsjögården Restaurant. They are among the leading experts in bear watching and wildlife observation in Sweden. From here, you will walk up the 70 or so steps to our log cabin in the forest. There you can indulge in culinary delights in Filip & Malin's traditional log cabin. Our outdoor cooking takes place in a traditional fire hut. They will prepare an exclusive dinner for you over an open fire. The menu includes reindeer roasted in bacon with a "whey butter" chanterelle sauce, roast potatoes and lingonberry jam. For dessert, Filip & Malin will prepare the local Hälsingland cheesecake for you and serve it with cloudberry jam. Filip & Malin will tell you everything you want to know about bears. Throughout the experience, you can ask Filip & Malin all kinds of questions about the local bear population and wildlife watching. This way you can learn all kinds of things about the wildlife in Scandinavia.
