Healing waterfall - via ferrata
You have never done a via ferrata before, you have a slight fear of heights but you want to face your fear and overcome it. This via ferrata is mainly for families with smaller children 7-12, as it is manageable in difficulty and length. I will show you tips and tricks on how to get your kids over more difficult sections. Finally, for all the brave ones, there is a flying fox directly into the gorge. The via ferrata is in a gorge with lots of cold water and big waterfalls. Even if it is usually very warm, it is always a few degrees colder there, so you should bring warm clothes.
Program details:
We meet at the parking lot of the bee trail in the direction of Obergailertal (at the Mühlenstüberl in Obergail about 700m down the forest road). On the way to the entrance (approx. 20min) you will learn a lot about bees. Together with a state-certified mountain guide you will put on your equipment and receive instruction on the correct behavior on the via ferrata. Afterwards we will climb the new via ferrata at the Heilkraft waterfall together. At the end, all the brave ones will be lowered into the gorge once again via a flying fox. Afterwards we hike together back to the parking lot.
