Details

Experience an impressive guided hike through the Mötzer Klamm and discover one of the most diverse natural landscapes on the Mieminger Plateau.

The loop hike starts every Monday at 9:10 a.m. in the center of Mötz at the village fountain and leads along a stream through the wild and romantic gorge with a waterfall and narrow trails, continuing upward to the striking Klamm Castle. Peaceful forest and meadow sections, exciting gorge passages, and beautiful views of the Inn Valley make this moderately difficult hike in Tyrol a special nature experience for leisure-oriented hiking enthusiasts. The tour covers approximately 6 km, takes about 3 hours to complete, and involves a total elevation gain and loss of 250 meters; therefore, hiking or mountaineering boots and appropriate clothing are absolutely required.

Participation is free with a valid Welcome Card; please present it to the guide before the tour begins. Please note that dogs are not permitted and there are no places to stop for refreshments along the way.

Free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the start; the tour may be canceled due to insufficient participants, bad weather, alpine hazards, or other unforeseeable circumstances; any amounts already paid will, of course, be refunded in full.
