Details

Experience the most beautiful view over Lake Wörthersee - and slide spectacularly back down again.

The Pyramidenkogel is one of the most impressive excursion destinations around Velden and is only around 10-12 minutes away from the Marienhof. At around 100 meters high, it is the highest wooden observation tower in the world and offers you an incomparable 360-degree panoramic view of Carinthia.

From the top, you can look out over the entire Wörthersee, the surrounding hills and all the way to the Karawanken mountains - particularly impressive on a clear day or at sunset.

For those who like a bit more action, a real highlight awaits: the highest covered building slide in Europe. The 120-metre-long slide takes you rapidly down from the tower - an experience that perfectly combines adrenaline and fun.

Whether as a short excursion or as part of an active day - the Pyramidenkogel combines nature, views and adventure in a unique way.
