Eggental Taste Local

Eggental Taste Local, an Eggental-wide pilot project, was launched at the beginning of 2022 to promote and strengthen cooperation between farmers and restaurateurs. Farmers from the Val d'Ega sell vegetables and eggs directly to the valley's hotels and restaurants.

The aim of the pilot project is to gain valuable experience, learn from each other and grow together. A particular focus will be placed on a transparent exchange between restaurateurs and farmers - but also on the willingness to work together and to take into account the needs of all parties involved.

Our common goal is for all products grown and provided by the farmers to be adopted by the gastronomy sector. We are aware that the Eggental farmers are not yet in a position to cover the entire demand.

In the coming years, we would like to expand this project to include other product groups such as meat and dairy products.
