A pristine alpine lake at an elevation of over 2,000 meters located at the foot of the mountain of the same name, between the Fraele Towers and Lake Cancano, fed solely by underground springs that make it the ideal habitat for many species of fish.

There are two types of entrance fees, the proceeds of which will be totally devoted to the preservation and protection of the environment and its ecosystem and the conservation of biodiversity.

Regulations 2021

- Article 1 (Fishing times and places).

Fishing shall be allowed only to authorized persons and in the manner set forth in these

Regulations, from sunrise on May 28, 2021 until 8 p.m. on October 17, 2021.

Fishing is always prohibited from one hour after sunset until sunrise.

- Article 2 (Permitted fishing gear and methods).

Fishing is allowed with artificial lures only (fly with rat tail and spinning).

- Art. 3 (Catch limits)

Each angler may retain for each day, regardless of the availability of multiple

permits, a maximum of three fish.

- Art. 4 (Fishing permits)

Regulations 2021

- Article 5 (Rules of conduct)

It is absolutely forbidden to leave any object, or waste, on the shore of the Lake, in the

same, or in its immediate vicinity; it is, likewise, forbidden to behave in a way that is detrimental

of the environment and other fishermen.

- Article 6 (Release of fish)

Catch-and-release is allowed only for those who fish by

fly (rat-tail system). In such cases, fish that are not retained

shall be released with appropriate care so that they are not injured or maimed.

- Article 7 (Penalties)

Unauthorized fishing constitutes theft under Article 624 of the Criminal Code.

Anyone in possession of the appropriate permit who contravenes the above provisions

will be immediately asked to leave the Lake.
