From Lago di Braies to San Vigilio

A challenging hike in a legendary landscape, where the wild mountain nature and the cultivated landscape of the alpine pastures, characterized by grazing animals, combine to form a unique unit and offer breathtaking views.

The starting point is the impressive Pragser Wildsee lake, in whose waters the mighty rock faces of the Seekofel are reflected. This place is considered a true legend in the mountains and one of the natural wonders of the Dolomites. 🏔️

We climb up through the forest to the Fojedöra mountain pasture, where animals graze freely: a magical place off the beaten track where time seems to stand still. The meadows are home to an extraordinary variety of species and offer us the sight of a hidden gem - Lake Fojedöra. 🌿

During the entire hike, we will be in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lunch: Refreshment stop at the Fojedöra mountain hut or packed lunch
