Hike to the summit of the small Gamsstein Hochfügen *

The hike from Hochfügen to the Kleiner Gamsstein (1,927 m) is one of the most beautiful panoramic hikes in the Zillertal. The trail winds its way upward through blooming alpine meadows and along gentle paths for about two hours to the summit, where a breathtaking panoramic view of the Zillertal, the Tux Alps, and—on a clear day—even as far as the Karwendel awaits you. The hike is varied, easy to navigate, and ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy alpine nature without choosing a route that’s too challenging.

Together, we’ll take the hotel bus for about 20 minutes to Hochfügen. The first seven people to register can ride on the hotel bus; everyone else is asked to make their own way to the starting point of the hike.

Please bring plenty to drink and a small snack. There are no places to stop for refreshments along the way!

Please wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing.
