Patscherkofel Cable Car

The Patscherkofel, a ten-minute drive from Innsbruck, boasts the Patscherkofelbahn cable car and family-friendly hiking trails. The famous Zirbenweg trail offers not only numerous alpine pastures but also authentic Tyrolean mountain scenery and many views of Innsbruck. You’ll find culinary delights and relaxation on the terraces at the restaurants “Das Kofel” and “Das Hausberg.”

A highlight for all children is Kofele’s Quiz Hiking Tour, featuring 8 stations from the mountain station to the summit, as well as the children’s hiking trails featuring an owl, a deer, and a fox. Whether it’s breakfast or a dinner-out in the Patscherkofel Gourmet Gondola—there’s no more enjoyable way to experience the mountains.

With the Welcome Card Plus (for stays of 3 nights or more), you’ll receive a 20% discount on one round-trip ticket. No direct access at the turnstile. Please purchase your ticket at the ticket office.

On Thursdays, evening rides are available until 11:00 PM.
