Discover the wonderful itineraries selected by our collaborator and mid-mountain guide Giulia Giudici.
Starting from Arnoga, you enter a dense fir forest and continue on the road that runs along the meadows halfway up the mountainside. Then the view becomes much wider and the vegetation becomes sparser giving way to the typical vegetation of alpine pastures.
Continuing further, between the walls of Corno di Dosdè and the ridges of Pizzo Bianco, we reach the Viola refuge (2314 m.) and the Val Viola lake, a small lake of glacial origin located at 2267 meters.
Just above the hut is the Val Viola Pass, which marks the border with Switzerland and connects with the Poschiavina Valley.
