Das König Ludwig Inspiration SPA
The Otto-Mayr-Hütte is impressively situated in the Raintal below the north faces of Köllenspitze and Gimpel. The magnificent close-up view of the rocky precipices from the hut terrace attracts hikers and cyclists alike. The hut serves hearty Tyrolean cuisine as well as vegetarian dishes and homemade cakes. Without ascent aids, the Otto-Mayr-Hütte can be reached most quickly from the Gasthof Bärenfalle near Musau. For the ascent through the Reintal valley via the Musauer Alm, a walking time of approx. 2 ½ hours is estimated. The hut can also be reached by mountain bike on this route. If you take the cable car from Grän (Tannheimer Tal) up to the Füssener Jöchle (1821 m), you will reach the hut within 1 ¼ hours. From Schwangau take the B17 towards Füssen and before the Lech bridge turn left towards Reutte/Tyrol. Follow the road to the roundabout and take the second exit. Then continue in the direction of Musau. In the district of Roßschläg, after leaving the village, there is a free hikers' car park on the right-hand side at Gasthof Bärenfalle in Roßschläg 98, A-6600 Musau. The Otto-Mayr-Hütte is open from the beginning of May until the end of October.
