The cattle drives are eagerly awaited by locals, visitors and above all the farmers of the Mayrhofen-Hippach vacation region in late summer. Every year, the cattle drive is a very special event with lots to see, celebrate and laugh about. This is because the cattle are expected back in the valley safe and sound after the idyllic alpine grazing period. The proud alpine caravan, accompanied by the shepherds, makes its way to the villages! Experience the magic of the Zillertal Farmers' & Music Autumn in Mayrhofen!
On the weekends of 26 & 27 September and 03 & 04 October 2024, the town center is transformed into a lively marketplace - an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
