The motto of this hike is "Alpine pastures; natural vs. cultural landscape". From the parking lot, you cross the Pletzach bridge into the Gerntal valley. Along beautiful paths you walk through a wonderful mountain forest, which has become home to many wild animals (red deer, roe deer,...). We follow this path and come across the open alpine meadows of the Pletzachalm, which offer great views. From this man-made landscape, you can let your gaze wander into the valley and the surrounding mountains. Here we can see that natural and cultural landscapes can be very different, but do not have to be opposites. We then return to the starting point.
