Off-piste with SNOWHOW - Guided day ski tours

Learn important tips and tricks for a safe and energy-saving ascent on a guided ski tour in the greater Innsbruck area: a mountain guide from SNOWHOW will take care of the tour planning. On the way on tour he will show what a pleasant ascent track is. In most cases, hairpin bends can be avoided. If you do need them, it doesn't have to feel unsafe. Decisions for ascent and descent based on the avalanche situation will be discussed together and the basics of avalanche awareness including the use of emergency avalanche equipment will be taught. Who can participate?

Tourers with some experience who want to progress and want more. Black ski slopes and ascents up to approx. 1,000 vertical meters should be feasible.

Meeting point and procedure

Meeting point is Sunday at 08:00 at the starting point of the planned ski tour. The tour destination depends on the current snow conditions. The meeting point will be announced two to three days before.

Cost per person: € 115,- incl. emergency avalanche equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel)
