Route description:

From the parking lot above the Vorderploin farm, walk along the road to the barrier of the Hochploin farm. From here you walk about 25 min to the turn-off Meiselsteinalm. There we continue to the right along the forest road and turn left at the next possibility into the forest road to the Meiselsteinkapelle. From here we walk about 30 more minutes on a beautiful hiking trail to the Meiselsteinkapelle. Once at the top, you have an excellent view of the Hochkönig and also in the direction of the Großglockner, the mountains are clearly visible.

Beautiful alp with gutting nice hospitality and delicious food. The detour to the shepherd chapel is worthwhile not only because of the panorama!

Up to the Alm the cows are fenced, away is dog-friendly with many Gassisackstationen and trash cans
