Hike Oberautal - Kaserstattalm

Enjoy a spring-like hike from the hotel to the Stod waterfall and on into the quiet Oberautal valley, where you can expect light forest paths and a magnificent panorama of the Karwendel mountains.

The tour starts directly at the hotel and first takes us past the impressive Stod waterfall into the unspoilt Oberautal valley. We reach the Schrambachalm (1,092 m) after around an hour on leisurely paths through the sparse forest. From there, a serpentine path leads up to the Kaserstattalm at 1,436 m. As neither alpine pasture is managed, the focus here is on the unspoiled tranquillity of nature. While the view sweeps far over the peaks of the Karwendel, the new energy of the awakening spring forest can be felt particularly intensely.
