* Winter excursion with the snowshoes to Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese with Werner

Plätzwiese is not only one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the Upper Puster Valley, but also one of the most interesting and diverse hiking destinations within the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The beautifully situated high plateau is surrounded by the impressive Prags Dolomites, such as Dürrenstein, Hohe Gaisl and the Helltaler Schlechten, and invites visitors to stop, relax and marvel at the scenery. The ascent takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and leads via the Stolla Alm. For the descent, we will decide on site whether to take the bus (cost: €5.50) or to walk back to the parking area along the toboggan run, which takes about one hour. The hike is suitable for children aged 14 and over, but not for dogs.

Cost for the public bus up to Plätzwiese: €5.50 per one-way trip.

Departure with the hotel bus (limited seats available; individual travel possible).

Elevation gain: approx. 520 m
