Winter/snowshoe hike under the Rosengarten

Immerse yourself in a winter wonderland on an unforgettable panoramic hike to the Haniger Schwaige, past the imposing Rosengarten walls and the awe-inspiring Vajolet Towers, where the silence of the snow and the majestic mountains create a magical atmosphere.

Tour description:

After the ascent with the Tierser cable car, we start our hike at the Frommeralm. We hike past the Baumann Schweige and reach the Sagenwanderweg trail, which we follow to the Haniger Schweige. After a short break, the trail leads us down via the Plafötsch Alm to the starting point in St. Zyprian.

Walking time: approx. 5 hours

Ascent: approx. 300 m

Descent: approx. 900 m

Difficulty: Moderately difficult hike, good basic fitness required

Refreshments available: No refreshment stops available, please bring a packed lunch

Snowshoes, Grödel poles, hiking poles and rucksacks can be hired from reception

Lift charges are not included

You are welcome to order a packed lunch at breakfast (for a fee)

Please always take a bus pass with you (available free of charge from reception)

The tour also takes place when there is little snow, without snowshoes
