The Val Badia is considered the Ladin heart. The Ladin way of life and language has remained very much alive in the villages of the Val Badia, as they were difficult to access for a long time due to their geographical remoteness.
On the first day, the hike takes you to one of the most sought-after plateaus in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park in the north of the Dolomites.
Impressive also the stop in Europe's highest situated brewery: a mountain hut, where the beer is brewed itself!
The long-distance hike leads next to beautiful peaks of the Braies Dolomites past an idyllic mountain lake and a delicious alpine hut to the so-called "turquoise-blue pearl of the Dolomites", the beautiful Braies Wildsee. Accommodation is in the sparsely populated, green Braies Valley!
