The Albrecht Dürer House in Nuremberg is one of the most important artists' houses in Germany. Albrecht Dürer lived and worked in the historic half-timbered house from 1509 until his death in 1528. Today, the museum shows how the famous painter, graphic artist and art theorist lived and created. Visitors can experience original living rooms, workshops and changing exhibitions on Dürer's life, his works and his influence on art history. Multimedia stations and guided tours make the museum visit particularly vivid.
