That's Monika Romanovska (vocals/violin/mandolin/guitar/percussion) and Steffi Glässer(vocals/guitar/bass/kickbox)!
The duo was founded in November 2007 after the two
musicians were introduced to each other by a mutual friend.
After the first jam session, it was
clear that this line-up must be a recipe for success!
Monika studied violin at the Prague Conservatory and comes from a family of musicians.
She has been a professional musician for years, and has played in
internationally successful band "The Country Sisters" (CZ) and the Prague Symphony Orchestra!
Absolutely virtuoso country fiddle playing is guaranteed!!!
When required, Monika also plays the mandolin with "The Crown Jewels", which she
also masters at a high level.
With her crystal-clear voice, she interprets soulful ballads just as aptly as
rock songs!
Steffi's "unfeminine way of playing guitar" provides the bass-heavy
country groove. With her expressive voice, she also stands out from the crowd vocally, and has already won over
some critics.
She won the "PullmanCity-CountryMusicAward" in 2006 with "TuneRide" in the
duo category and took 2nd place in 2009 and 1st place in 2010. The repertoire of the "Crown Jewels" consists mainly of traditional country songs, ranging from Johnny
Cash, Hank Williams and Dolly Parton to
Mary Chapin-Carpenter, CCR and the Dixie Chicks. In addition, they always have some rock`n`roll,
rock and their own stuff!
Two perfectly harmonizing voices, solid instrumental background, professional entertainment,
pure female power and lots of fun!!!
As always, you can eat in the restaurant from 16:00 according to the menu.🍽️.
