Am Kurgarten 5-7, Bad Kissingen
From April to October, you can experience the free pump at the graduation house in action. The historic pumping station runs daily from 12 noon to 6 p.m., providing an illustrative example of how it works. Built in 1848, the free pump has eight piston pumps and a turbine drive. With its output, it supplied various sections of the graduation house as well as the salt works restaurant and the state laundry with fresh water in the 19th century.
