The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area in the upper Inn Valley is a real magnet for families. The offer there is especially tailored to parents with their children. But professionals don't have to be bored here either.
show less High above the upper Inntal, the so-called Oberes Gericht, towers a broad sunny plateau, which in winter turns into a large-scale family ski area. Between 1,200 and 2,828 metres above sea level, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area extends with its almost limitless range of mostly intermediate and easy slopes. However, there are also some black runs, for example on Pezid and Zwölferkopf, as well as freedride routes for deep-snow fun away from the hustle and bustle. The altitude guarantees snow until spring.
Snowboarders practice their tricks and jumps in the eight fun areas, racers enjoy the two permanent race courses and beginners try out their first turns on the easy slopes from Plansegg and from the Sonnenbahn middle station. But families and children should feel particularly at home in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. This is ensured by the caretakers, for example in the Murmli crèche, but also practice areas such as on the Kinderschneealm Serfaus and in Berta's Kinderland.
If you run out of energy during all the sporting activities, all you have to do is look for one of the many wellness stations that are positioned throughout the ski area: ergonomic loungers, cosy lounge furniture and comfortable hammocks. And for meals, head to one of the many restaurants and huts on the edge of the slopes.
