Hike to the Mauthner Alm

You drive by car to Mauthen and then over the Plöckenstraße - direction Italy. After a few hairpin bends, turn right to Gasthof Lamprechtbauer. Follow this road. Park your car at the inn. Now you can reach the Enzianhütte below the Mauthner Alm via a wide forest road or via a charming, old overgrown driving path. The Mauthner Alm is known for its variety of flowers. You also have a magnificent view of the valley. Back you follow the same path.
