The Carinthian Summer is one of the most important cultural festivals in Carinthia and transforms the Villach region every summer into a grand stage for music, literature, and special encounters.
The festival features top-notch concerts and events with artists from all over the world. Performances take place at unique venues such as the Congress Center Villach, the Ossiach Abbey Church, and other atmospheric locations throughout the lake district.
The program ranges from classical music to chamber and orchestral concerts, as well as modern, international, and creative formats.
The Carinthian Summer takes place every year in July and August (2026: July 2 – August 2).
