The time-honored walls of Altfinstermünz invite you to the medieval festival on Thursday, May 30, 2024!

Exciting knightly duels, spectacular fire shows and medieval music by the band Heydenrausch will bring the past to life.

Altfinstermünz is a medieval court site and border fortification on the historic Via Claudia Augusta Roman road. The complex, which has been extensively restored in recent years, impresses with its construction and the special atmosphere of the time, which can still be felt today. A fascination that casts a spell over all visitors to the medieval festival in Altfinstermünz. Princes and princesses, knights and ladies-in-waiting, jugglers and jesters - there is nothing missing at the historical spectacle. Under the eyes of their Majesties, the artists present their performances and medieval warriors show off their skills.

And of course, as is only right and proper, there is no shortage of food and drink. Guests, damsels and lords of the castle fortify themselves with culinary delicacies from the past. The spectacular fire show is an absolute highlight.
