Rauris primeval forest

The tour starts at the information hut at the Lenzanger parking lot (meeting point). The hike then leads past dark moor pools, giant trees and tall Swiss stone pines. Romantic clearings next to old spruce and larch stands make the landscape look like a green jungle during the tour. Visitors learn about the special features of this natural jewel at the head of the Rauris valley from the ranger. After leaving the primeval forest, the hike leads past numerous inns along the road back to the starting point.
