Guided hike to the Meislsteinalm // medium

First, the trail leads us comfortably along a forest path for a while before we climb across alpine meadows up to the Hirtenkapelle chapel at 1,380 m above sea level. Once at the top, we enjoy a fantastic view of the Hochkönig and the mighty peaks of the Hohe Tauern.

From there, we continue our leisurely hike down to the Meislsteinalm, which delights with a mixture of rustic flair and modern comfort. Here we are spoiled with homemade desserts, home-baked farmhouse bread and regional delicacies.

After an enjoyable refreshment, we finally make our way back to the starting point.

Tip: Be sure to try the oven-fresh Buchteln with vanilla sauce - a real treat!
