On this evening, we’ll be welcoming Janne Michaelis from the Dreissigacker Winery:

Dreissigacker wines can be found not only in Germany but also internationally on the best wine lists of top-tier restaurants. They are definitely not “everyone’s darling.” They polarize opinion and, as a result, have a large fan base, though also many critics who often find the wines too atypical. They do not conform to any pattern, cliché, or other stereotype; rather, Dreissigacker clearly strives to produce independent, authentic, and unique wines.

That is why owner Jochen Dreissigacker has made it his mission to capture the character of the soils and individual vineyards as naturally and gently as possible in the bottle. So it can be said that sustainability, closeness to nature, and ultimately time are what define Dreissigacker wines.
