Hoachwool via ferrata - Guided climbing stone by Matthias Hofer

Group size4 - ∞
Helpful facts

The Hoachwool via ferrata at the beginning of the Schnals Valley is certainly one of the more difficult via ferratas in South Tyrol, opposite Reinhold Messner's Juwal Castle.

The name Hoachwool comes from the fact that the via ferrata runs in the middle section on a Wool built around 1850 - an old water pipe system with wooden gutters.

Another special feature of the via ferrata is certainly an approx. 25m long rope bridge, which leads across the stream at the beginning of the via ferrata.

Since I am very much on the road in the mountains, I can not always answer immediately - but usually you will receive a response within 24h.
