Travel to Schärding with our animator Lothar.
The medieval town on the green Inn is characterized by all eras. A special attraction is the townscape with town houses from the 16th to 19th centuries, in particular the late baroque Silberzeile on the upper town square surrounded by a largely preserved town wall with several medieval town gates.
Schärding, with its cohesive, colorful Baroque architecture, is a typical representative of the Inn-Salzach style.
The late medieval guild colors of the houses, the magic of the old gates, the quiet corners and the mysterious alleys still shape the charming character of the small historic town today.
On the way home, make a short detour to the monastery complex of the canons of Reichersberg in Upper Austria. Afterwards, stop off at the monastery restaurant.
