Guest information - Everything you need to know...

Departure / house handover

- Please wash the dishes, use the dishwasher

- No waste on the floor "broom clean".

- Empty waste baskets (bathroom, kitchen)

- Waste recycling by the landlord. We only ask you to collect the bottles (PET, glass), cans, etc. in the stairwell in the gray drawers. (Please note the sign at the collection point)

- Waste disposal by the tenant: We provide 1 chargeable waste bag per kitchen free of charge. Additional chargeable waste bags can be purchased in any grocery store.

- Waste container next to the parking lot on the main road towards the bus stop Post Ringgenberg. Please only throw in white, chargeable bags.

- Please NOT remove dirty bed linen,

- Please put dirty towels, drying cloths, rags, tablecloths, etc. in the gray laundry baskets at the main entrance/in the stairwell (opposite the washing machine).

- Please fold up wool blankets

- Please leave our house with respect! Thank you for everything!

Suggestions

Please let us know during your stay if you have any requests, defects or missing items. We will take care of it. We are available 7 days / 24 hours. It is very important to us that you are satisfied.

Check-in / Check-out

Chalet Böhli is ready for occupancy from 16.00 at the earliest. We welcome the guests personally and hand over the house keys with a short introduction.

We ask the guests to hand in / check out the apartments by 10.00 am at the latest and to follow the instructions for the apartment handover (see above departure / house handover)

Guests may leave individually, with the request to leave the keys of the accommodation on the kitchen table. Please inform us when you have left. Thank you.

Extras / additional services

- Baby crib for CHF 25.00 one-off cost

- Additional beds for children from 10+ years CHF 25.00 per day

- Chalet cleaning during the stay CHF 125.00 per hour / additional cleaning for only 1 apartment for CHF 75.00 per hour. Final cleaning included in the rent of the chalet

- Fresh, new towels and bed linen are provided free of charge after one week with a small basic cleaning of the chalet/apartment

- Early check-in and late check-out: please on request, costs may be incurred. In the off-season, however, we are more flexible and generous with free services.

Luggage storage

You are welcome to leave your luggage with us in the chalet on the day of arrival or departure free of charge. Please reserve the luggage room in advance.

History of the house

The Chalet Böhli was built around 1760. The south façade is a listed building and may not be altered. The furnishings are antique and valuable. We ask you to take care of it. The house has been in the family for many generations. The owner is the Hans-Peter Böhler family from Goldswil near Ringgenberg BE

Heating

The house is electrically heated. There is a radiator in each room, which can be adjusted individually.

Charging station for eCars and eBikes

Please let us know that you are traveling with an electric car. We will be happy to show you where you can find an electric charging station in Ringgenberg. We can organize a charging station for your electric bikes on site, please let us know 48 hours before arrival.

Stoves / fireplaces 

Unfortunately, it is not permitted to light the stoves with wood due to the risk of fire.

Parking 

Unfortunately, there is no private parking at the chalet. We will be happy to direct you to a nearby parking lot. On arrival, we will give you a parking card for the duration of your stay. This entitles you to free parking in the whole village of Ringgenberg. This service is included in the price.

Smoking

You are welcome to smoke on the balcony and in the garden.

PLEASE NOTE: Please use our ashtrays and be careful with the ashes. You are staying in a quickly flammable wooden house!

Security

We recommend that you lock the front door. However, crime is not to be expected in our region. You can sleep peacefully with the windows and balcony doors open.

TV

Enjoy the great view from the house. The TV offers you "only" cable TV. There is a large selection of different main channels from different countries. It is not a digital device and no channels can be streamed. The TV cannot be used for YouTube.

Fans / air conditioning

There are 4 fans available in the house. (2 per apartment) We do not have air conditioning in the house. In summer, we recommend closing the shutters during the day. This keeps the heat outside. At night it is pleasantly cool and you can sleep with the windows open.

Water

The tap water is top quality. You can drink it straight from the tap just like mineral water.
