The Fraele Power Plant reopens its doors: a journey through history, ingenuity and power
One of the most fascinating testimonies of Valtellina's industrial past is back in the spotlight: the Fraele Power Plant. A work that is not only engineering and architecture, but a true symbol of the link between man and nature, between resources and innovation.
The power plant will again be open to visitors thanks to a rich calendar of openings.
The guided tours are part of the international project "Water Routes Po Valley ERIH," dedicated to water routes and European industrial heritage. This is an unmissable opportunity to rediscover the places where the energy that once flowed that illuminated the valley and to understand up close the operation and evolution of a historic hydroelectric plant that is still fascinating and relevant today.
In collaboration with Fondazione AEM - Gruppo A2A, each tour is designed to offer an immersive experience, combining history, technology and landscape.
