Panorama mountain tour to the Seebodenspitze

Helpful facts

Meeting point for this tour is the large parking lot at the sports field in Goldrain. We drive together with our own car to the upper Vinschgau (approx. 40 min) to St. Valentin a.d.H. We float with the cable car to the mountain restaurant of the Haider Alm. From there we start the mountain tour initially over the pasture area of the Haider Alm and soon we reach the shimmering Grünsee at 2,441m. Now continue over a scree slope to the Seeköpfl where you can enjoy magnificent views. Continue for the time being over the broad ridge of the Seeböden becoming steeper and steeper to the beautiful summit cross of the Seebodenspitze at 2,859m. After a break at the summit (own provisions) and with a magnificent view of the Vinschger Oberland, the descent over the southern slope is made with a view to the mountain restaurant Haider Alm. Of course, a stop in the mountain restaurant may not be missing where

traditional South Tyrolean specialties are served; Tip, the Kaiserschmarrn tastes fantastic.
