Hiking trail to the Toplitzsee

Participation in hike is possible without registration, only for the bus seat (limited seats) registration is required.

Embedded in the wonderful mountain world are, among others, the Grundlsee and the Toplitzsee. On the way from the Grundlsee to the Toplitzsee we find many herbal places, which are also suitable for consumption. We start at the Grundlsee, the largest lake in Styria. Our destination is the legendary Toplitzsee. "Supposedly gold treasures from the Nazi era, among other things, should have sunk in the Toplitzsee. In the past, many divers were looking for the great treasure. In fact, only vast quantities of counterfeit British pound notes came to light." But as is so often the case, the journey is the destination - The trail offers us a decidedly varied hike that takes us through paths with different subsoils.At Lake Toplitz we will stop for a bite to eat at the "Fischerhütte" on the shores of the lake. Our way back leads us along a comfortable walkway, along the river Traun back to the Grundlsee.
