Alpine Zoo - Innsbruck

In Europe's highest zoo, you can experience more than 2000 Alpine animals of around 150 species, such as ibexes, eagles and wolves, in beautifully designed enclosures, terrariums and aquariums. The zoo is located at the foot of the Nordkette mountain range, where you can look out over the rooftops of Innsbruck thanks to its wonderful hillside location. A highlight for the little ones is the show farm with wild boars, sheep and goats. A detour to the great playground with bear cave makes a day at the Alpine Zoo perfect.
