Alpine herbs on the Brandberg

At the start of the tour, we visit the historic Mitterstall. It houses the "Kulturlandschafts.Welten" exhibition. The tour then leads through a varied forest to the "almkräuterei", where we enjoy a welcome drink. After a short round of introductions, in which individual requirements are assessed, we stroll with the Almkräuterer into the Laberger "Alm-Kräuter- Garten". We combine botany with medicine and culinary delights by teaching individual processing methods and the correct handling of teas, tinctures, spices or food and room incense. The focus on the individuality of the participants is essential.

Character: moderately difficult hike, 700 meters in altitude, uphill and downhill

Duration: approx. 6.5 hours; of which 3.5 hours are pure walking time

Refreshments: Gasthof Thanner (at the end of the tour), bring a snack
