Details

Look forward to our new vintage, with Weingut Dönnhoff & Weingut Emrich-Schönleber from the Nahe as our guests - and create an enjoyable evening together with our chef and our sommelier Markus Balzer.

The Dönnhoff winery is one of the most famous Riesling wineries in Germany and has been run by the Dönnhoff family for over 250 years. Helmut Dönnhoff achieved his international breakthrough in the 1970s by consistently developing top vineyards on the Nahe and focusing on elegant, terroir-driven Rieslings. Today, Cornelius Dönnhoff is the fourth generation to run the family business; the Rieslings from sites such as Hermannshöhle and Felsenberg are regarded worldwide as the benchmark for top German wines.

The Emrich-Schönleber winery in Monzingen on the Nahe looks back on a winemaking tradition dating back to the 18th century and is now run by Werner and Frank Schönleber. The wines are characterized by the barren slate and quartzite soils, which produce a distinct minerality, fine spiciness and great elegance. Today, Emrich-Schönleber is considered one of the most renowned top German wineries and combines traditional craftsmanship with a very purist, terroir-driven style.
