"Buon Natale" — featuring star tenor Paolo Scorianò at the Basilica

As part of the opening weekend of the Mariazell Advent, Mariazell is sending a powerful message of peace and unity: In the unique atmosphere of the Mariazell Basilica, star tenor Paolo Scorianò, the Belcanto Youth Orchestra, and the GIBS Student Children’s Choir will present a festive concert full of sound, emotion, and hope.

The program features international Christmas classics, moving songs of peace, and traditional Austrian Advent and Christmas music—a musical fusion of a global message and deeply rooted regional tradition. The impressive lighting design further transforms the basilica into a special space for experience and lends the concert an extraordinary atmosphere.

The concert will be recorded by ORF, underscoring the special significance of this musical highlight of the Mariazell Advent season.
